These procedures apparently did nothing to stop Spore from being pirated successfully before the official release. Red alert 3.iso This also effectively renders legitimate copies of RA3 useless at some point down the line, whether reinstalling to save hard drive space or through upgrading hardware or combating viruses, since EA support for that title may have been shut down at that point given past precedents. Do you ask for Honda's permission to turn on your motor in your car after 100,000 miles? The real effect of the installation limit, critics argue, is on game trade-in shops such as Gamestation and GAME. 'Talk to me Victor. Talk to me Victor' 'Shaken n' Stirred' holds a tremendous amount of sentimental value for me, & yes, I do still think it's a very good album, despite the 80's sound. In 1985 I was 14 years old. This was the same year that I first started going to concerts with my big brother. My first show was the Kinks in March, 1985.

In May, I saw The Firm, & in June or July, I saw Plant on tour for this very album. In January of 1985 I started playing the guitar, & I still do to this day. At 38 years old now, married with a child (she's 6 months old today!

) life is still good, but man, talk about the good ol' days. Click to expand. As I wrote above, Plant claimed Blunt had a hard time with the direction of this album. However, in 1988, Plant revealed to Rolling Stone that he got together with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones with the late Tony Thompson on drums for rehearsals to form a new version of Led Zeppelin. They rehearsed for about a week and then Thompson was involved in a car crash. After that, Plant decided he wanted to pursue his solo career, so he started putting a new band together. Keyboardist Phil Johnstone sent him a demo of the song Heaven Knows, which was based on the chord changes in LZ's Kashmir, and the result was the Now and Zen album and the band that backed Plant into the beginning of the 90's. Damn fine guitar player, IMO. Pictures At Eleven and Shaken And Stirred are my favourite Plant albums. Kudos to ol' Percy for doing something different instead of just rehashing past Zeppelin glories (that wouldn't happen until he hooked up with Johnstone and Boyle and those guys.IMO 'Tall Cool One' is a travesty.' Remember me?! I used to be the singer in Led Zeppelin!' ) Fate Of Nations has its moments, but I pretty much got off the Robert Plant train after Shaken And Stirred.

I should try track down a show from that tour, sounds interesting. Glad to see a thread exists on this fantastic and overlooked album. I recently picked up a vinyl copy of Shaken N Stirred for a couple of bucks at my brick and mortar.

Always loved this record but was most used to listening to it first on cassette then CD. It's been two days and still pretty rocked at how incredible the LP version of this title sounds.

It's audiophile heaven honestly. Beautiful clear bass, realistic in-the-room vocals, beautiful air around Robbie Blunt's clever guitar work. Everything is recorded so unbelievably well. The drums and bass just create a devastatingly tight pocket. I listened to Principle of Moments right after it and the sound quality wasn't even close in comparison. To me the secret weapon of this album is Richie Hayward.

It's amazing how well he combines pure groove with fascinating and unusual patterns. Plant's voice on this album sort of goes beyond the usual lead singer role. He's almost just another musician in the band interjecting ideas here and there. Toni Halliday is amazing on the record as well. Definitely my favorite Plant album. I HATED this album when it first came out.but it grew on me.

Hip to Hoo, Trouble Your Money, Pink and Black, Little by Little, Easily Lead and Sixes and Sevens - all good stuff. And even upon it's release when I hated it, it was never lost on me how great Plant was singing. I saw him on this tour at the NJ Meadowlands the week after Live Aid and he was fabulous.Jimmy Page came out for the encores! However.Pictures at Eleven and The Principle of Moments are where it's at for me when it comes to solo Plant. Slow Dancer, Pledge Pin, Thru with the 2 Step, Other Arms.great stuff.
