SOLIDWORKS Customer Experience Improvement Program Program Participation Participation in this program directly improves the stability of SOLIDWORKS products. The data is continuously analyzed to help determine crash causes, create solutions and identify aggregated stability trends. Stability fixes are the primary focus of Service Packs. The more data we receive, the more stable we can make SOLIDWORKS Products. SOLIDWORKS strongly recommends you participate in this program for your own and other users’ benefit. SOLIDWORKS and overall system Performance is not affected by participating in this program.

What data is Collected and How is it Used to Improve SOLIDWORKS? SOLIDWORKS creates a log file on the user's machine that contains crash trace data, SOLIDWORKS Option settings, and information about your PC. This log file is created each time SOLIDWORKS is started. If the SOLIDWORKS System Option 'Help make SOLIDWORKS products better by automatically sending your log files to DS SOLIDWORKS Corporation' is Off, then this log file is only sent to SolidWorks if the application crashes and you agree to send it. If the option is On, the log file is sent automatically the next time SOLIDWORKS starts. If you are located outside of the United States, you may be transferring the log file and the data it contains (listed below) to SOLIDWORKS servers located in the United States and you consent to that transfer.
