Cakewalk Si String Section Vsti Sax

1 Jan 2000admin

Hi, I currently use Studio Instrument from Cakewalk as VSTi for my drum and bass lines. The piano doesn't sound good in my taste (maybe I don't know how to tweak it) and I rarely use strings (which doesn't sound realistic neither). But this is just a $50 product so. However I am happy with its bass and drums, maybe because I didn't tried another product yet! And this why I am here, to get some advice on a VSTi similarly easy to use as Cakewalk Studio Instruments, but more powerful and with new sounds I never tried yet. Please don't forget that I consider myself as a newbie and I need an easy to use product that will not occupy my entire hard disk. Also I know nothing about programming synths but if there are some products with synths pre-programmed for certain sounds (presets) I'd be happy to try.

Huge SFZ soundbank library tip - Cakewalk - posted in Beginners Questions - Redux: Looks like if you buy Dimension Pro sampler on eBay or digitally, you get nice universal library in SFZ. It is a bit of everything with small orchestral addon. I just purchased an old version and thrilled to start testing it out. Cakewalk SI als VST plugin in cubase studio 4, nice sounds, drums is working great; but. Stuck notes in the string and piano section. Might be a problem with drivers ( windows 7, new PC, various new drivers tested).

Would you please explain me what's the difference between samples and synthesized sounds? Are samples just 'pre-recorded' notes? Is Cakewalk's Studio Instruments (that I currently use) a sample or a synthesized product? As I told you, I know nothing about synth programming; so in either case, the product should be ready to give me drums and bass sounds at least and preferably in addition some other cool sounds like strings and other instruments (piano, percussion, sax, horns, etc.). Just for you to know, the Cakewalk's Studio Instruments has 4 kinds of sounds: drums, bass, piano and strings.

I just have to click once to get to the desired instrument page. Download novel terjemahan kendrick. As a plugin, I insert the desired instrument (one of those 4) into my track. Yes samples are just recorded audio files from a real instrument (but sometimes synths too) that you can play back. The advantage is that the piano will of course sound like a real piano etc etc. I believe Cakewalk's Studio Instruments are using samples. A synthesizer makes sound from scratch through electronic circuitry.
